Twitter wanted to use their beach front activation spaces to become the live heartbeat of the Cannes Lions festival.

Less corporate activation, more creative sanctuary for the Cannes crowd to explore, tweet, lounge and discover.

We turned #TwitterBeach into a living, breathing expression of what Twitter does best - connecting people to what’s happening now. From music and sport to fashion and film, it became the live link to culture in Cannes. Playful, premium, and unmistakably Twitter.

The result?

A packed out activation all-day, every day, helping creatives, media and partners to connect, reset, and experience howTwitter’s role in culture come to life.

Alongside the team at Lively, I led creative across every touchpoint, from core concept and branding to spatial design and product demos. We built a flexible visual system that ran across the beach hub and nearby #TweetSuite lounge.

Each zone (Periscope, ScratchReel, Vines and GIFs) showed how Twitter helps you experience culture in real time. At the heart was the Live Studio, capturing and broadcasting content throughout the week.
